Questions, banter and general discussion.
Greetings -

Great job on the site - very helpful. For a bit of background, i started Zwifting in mid-October at close to 250lbs. In the past 3 months, I have lost about 40 pounds. I have become a Zwift fanatic and enjoy the exercise while rekindling my competitive spirit after sitting behind a desk/computer for 20+ years.

I have a couple of questions in terms of race results that I am not understanding.

First question is from the DBR Winter Series Race on 1/14. https://www.zwiftpower.com/events.php?zid=131895

I was listed as the winner in the D category though last night, it was changed to “WKG”. What does that mean? I was reclassified from a ‘D’ to a ‘C’ 2 days ago and have been updating my weight religiously to be accurate. Is that related?

2nd question is from the ZBR Beginner Race (Americas) on 12/22 where I received a DQ. Can someone enlighten me on the reason for this? https://www.zwiftpower.com/events.php?zid=117729

In both cases, I haven’t intentionally done anything wrong but would like to understand what I did so that my mistake will not be repeated.

I look forward to the challenge of moving up to C and will continue to work on improving both my fitness as well as results.

Thank you for all that you do! Ride on!

Regarding your race, the WKG DQ seems incorrect. You correctly (at the time) entered Cat D and stayed under the 2.5 w/kg FTP limit (95% of 20 mins).
I suspect what has happened is this; Site Admin replaced the 95% of 20 min w/kg column with an average race w/kg which the race organiser has not noticed and he wrongly suspected you broke cat limits. Søren Andersen and Morten Jarlund are the two organisers we have listed.

The other one you refer to is a Beginners Race with bespoke cat limits which you exceeded. Have a look in the race description for more details.
Thank you! Appreciate the quick response!
FYI - it appears the Contact Us link in the DBR Winter Race Leagues section is not working. I received the following error: NGINX error. https://www.zwiftpower.com/S%C3%B8ren%20Andersen.

Seems like the error is thrown for all of the DBR Leagues. The other league's "Contact Us" links (ie. 3R, BRT, etc.) seem to work fine.

Thanks for the update.
