Come and join Team CLS CC for one their RACE EVENTS that take place at the end of every month, with the roads reserved for our group ONLY. The event is aimed at introducing people to RACING on Zwift so come and give it a go, you have nothing to loose and everything to gain! No big Ego’s in our Virtual Club. This particular event will be based on a Crit Style with courses varying in length from 1 to 1 1/2 hours. It will take place over 6 events through the 2018 / 2019 winter months.

Please use the TAG - (CLS) followed by your CAT after your surname to take full advantage of post ride results and enable the group to identify each other. We strongly recommend a 15 to 20 mins pre-ride minimum warm up to help minimise the risk of injury etc. etc.

POWER Ups -Allowed
BIKES - Any.
Use your FTP and then divide by your weight in kg then pick the correct TAG.
A: 4.0 W/kg FTP or higher – Use Tag (CLS A)
B: 3.2 W/kg to 3.99 W/kg FTP – Use Tag (CLS B)
C: 2.5 W/kg to 3.19 W/kg FTP – Use Tag (CLS C)
D: Under 2.49 W/kg FTP – Use Tag (CLS D)
PLEASE NOTE: Strava data for CLS races must be open (not private or hidden). Riders producing over 5w/kg average will be DQd. They can be reinstated if real life matching performances can be provided. Heart Rate Monitor required for CAT A and B racers. Also make sure your Strava name matches your Zwift Power name.
Come and join us, it would be great to meet some new people and welcome them to our group. We run a Facebook Group - Team CLS CC which we encourage people to follow for news and other group ride info and events. It is also a great place to ask any questions you may have about Zwift and we will do our best to answer them for you.
For your information, we run a 60-minute RECOVERY ride on Sundays, followed by our weekday workouts. It’s a TEMPO and CLIMBING session on Tuesday and an INTERVAL one on Thursdays - all three at 18:50 GMT. Then finally, on Saturday, we have a two identical Social ENDURANCE rides of approximately 50 miles that set off at 14:45 on varied courses, they last about 2 to 2 1/2 hours. We have tried to put together a weekly package that will allow riders to both enjoy their indoor sessions and back that up with some great workouts that will improve your fitness.
