Hello,

Any ideas why my Elite Turbo Muin B+ is being classed as ZP rather than power?

Linking it to my iPhone 8 which is picking up power and cadence.

Because it is one the most inaccurate trainers on the market and Zwift have marked it accordingly as ZPower.

Is that the one that relies on a separate speed/cadence sensor to estimate power?
Yes,

You have to fit Elites sensor to the trainer.
Surely for a Direct drive, Elite can't have got the power curve that wrong.

Guess I'll just race and get DQ'd afterwards

Thanks.

Yes that's the one.

There is 60 year old fella on here with a 50m swimming badge using one and he consistently hits and holds power at the 2000 watt cap!
ohhhhh dont mention him, is that a 50 mile or meter badge :D
Hi Sticky,

is it possible for someone like yourself (in ZwiftPower) to view
Zwiftpower users makes and models of trainer?
If so it would be interesting to know the numbers for the different
types of trainer/setups. (If you were allowed to publish them)

PS I listened to your advice on trainer choice as I changed my trainer
setup, and only my wallet and FTP regret the decision. I on the other
hand am really happy with it, good advice, thanks.

troy; trainer upgrade is normally a humbling experience, assume you went for dd neo per chance?
Hi Kevin,

I can neither confirm or deny said statement.
;)

I'm hoping Sticky can though. He has my approval to disclose my
new hardware. (If he is not too busy that is)

Zwift does not provide specific information to ZP other than what is displayed, i.e ZPower or Power (Power meter/smart trainer)
