Is tour de Zwift consider a race? Is this why my rank dropped B to a C?

It's not a race so you're ranking has not been affected by the Tour.

Replace the word events with races.

What you posted makes no sense to me. How does it apply to me?
You suggested your rank had changed so I pointed to the image that explains the process.

I also drew attention to the fact only races count for categorisation despite the image indicating 'events'.

My w/kg is 3.0. FTP I’ve no clue how you guys determine that.
The FTP is taken from your 95% of 20 min race performance.

So to achieve Cat B status the average of your best 3 FTPs in the last 30 days of races would need to be at least 3.2 w/kg AND 200w.

Assume an individual was 87.5kg then their best 3 race average FTP would need to be 280w (3.2 x 87.5). So the average of their 3 race average 20 min power would need to be at least 295w.

Why would I need 295w? When your chart says 200w Ftp . I’m 3.0 w/kg and ftp at 286 were does that put me?

If I enter a raced C I would DQ ever time I raced.

Both thresholds need to be met for higher category. So 200w FTP AND 3.2 w/kg FTP. To produce 3.2 w/kg FTP at the weight in example 295w needs to be produced for 20 mins.
You can safely ignore the 200w element as it was added to help females and super lightweight men who don't possess the raw watts.
My friends total standings wont show up in TDZ
